"I am so very very proud of my family and personally feel so blessed of God .  My wife, Keri, not only incredibly beautiful, but she has a heart that is even more  beautiful.  She has a real love for God, me, and the kids.   So blessed.  All of my kids have a very unique personality given to them by God, with tremendous potential for great things.  Bay is my youngest, Jordan is my oldest, Preston and Lindlee are my middle children.  I love my family so very much,  words can not describe."

good.News - the.Gospel

"The Gospel is called the "good news" because it addresses the most serious problem that you and I have as human beings, and that problem is simply this:  God is Holy and He is just, and I am not.  At the end of my life, I am going to stand before a just and holy God, and I will be judged.  And I will be judged either on the basis of my own righteousness - or lack of it - or the righteousness of another.  The good news of the Gospel is that Jesus live a life of perfect righteousness, of perfect obedience to God, not for His own well being but for His people.  He has done for me what I could not possibly do for myself.  But not only has He lived that life of perfect obedience, He offered Himself as a perfect sacrifice to satisfy the justice and righteousness of God."     R.C.  Sproul

First and foremost, to have a personal relationship with God, you have got to believe that Jesus is the one and only way.  Jesus is not one a many ways, Jesus is the ONLY WAY for sinful man to have relationship with righteous God.

Out of the mouth of Jesus himself in the Gospel of John the 14th chapter and the 6th verse . . .

"Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."  John 14:6

When you recognize, and I believe that the recognition and revelation of your need for forgiveness and salvation is completely a work of God through the Holy Spirit, but when you recognize your need for salvation the good news is a simple message with eternal blessings.

  1. You must ADMIT that you are sinner.  Romans 3:23 clearly explains that all have sinned against God, and all fall short of the Glory of God.  When the Holy Spirit is at work in your life and He reveals to you that you are a sinner, to have a personal relationship with God, first agree with God, admit to God that you are a sinner and that sin in your life has caused a great divide between you and God.  Romans 3:10 explains that there is absolutely no one, in their own merit, righteous and able to have relationship with God.  Sin separates you from God.  Sin is anything and everything that separates you from God will and way in your life.
  2. You must CONFESS your sin to God and receive His forgiveness.  1 John 1:9  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   Agreeing with God that our sin separates us leads us to fall before him and plead for His forgiveness.  God's forgiveness of sin is made possible by the shed blood of Jesus Christ on Calvary's cross.  Romans 6:23 explains that the consequence of sin is death or separation from God, but that in Christ, a gift of forgiveness is freely given when we humbly confess our sins to God.
  3. You must BELIEVE that Jesus is God.  John 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that He gave is only begotten son, that whosoever, believes in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting Life.  Romans 10:8-9  But what does it say?  "The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach):  That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.     Believing is faith.  Believing is trust.   Jesus left the throne of heaven and humble himself, lived a perfect life, and was the ultimate sacrifice which paid mine and your sin debt.  Only God could save the world.  God saved the world through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross.  Jesus resurrection is God's acceptance of the Jesus' sacrifice for the sin of the world.  For your sin.
  4. You must CALL upon the name of the Lord.  Romans 10:13 explains that if you want to obtain a personal relationship with God you have to call upon His name.  How do we call God?  We do this through prayer.  Prayer is simply talking to God.  If you admit to God that you are a sinner and confess your sins to Him asking for His forgiveness believing in your heart that Jesus is the only way for forgiveness of sin, pray to God, call upon Him and simply ask Him to save you and the Bible says, that when you call upon the name of the Lord you will be saved.

If this makes sense to you and you would like to discuss a personal relationship with God in more detail, please get in contact with me immediately.  I would love to further explain to you how you can have a personal relationship with God in Jesus Christ.
